This is a very helpful book for anyone at any part of their business/product endeavor. My favorite part was the glossary — this very in-depth and necessary text is filled with a ton of useful words to know. I’ve already taken the points I’ve learned it from and applied them to my business. There are also some very good questions that Mr. Franks asks us (the readers). I spent hours just pondering over them, and have already changed my plan for the future, for the better, because of them.
I never knew how much I didn’t know until I read this book. If you need help, or even if you don’t think you do, I would go highly suggest picking this up. Good luck to everyone on their project and happy reading!

This book is great in that it doesn’t waste your time with hundreds of pages filled with fluff. If you’ve decided to take the plunge and create a company it is highly likely that you’ve already read a ton of sites, blogs, social media posts and other materials about startups and now you need to ask yourself some important questions.
Be Your Own Startup Coach is a great resource to help you determine what those questions are, it gets to the meat of what things you need to be asking yourself about your idea, your plan, and yourself before you take get deeper in to the startup world.
You might be uncomfortable with some of the questions and you need to really focus in on those and try to determine some of the answers and this book does a great job of getting you to do exactly that.
This is a great read that won’t take you long to skim but might take some time as you figure out the answers. You’ll want to curl up with a cup of coffee and bust out a pen and paper when you sit down with this one.
